Buffalo, NY - Eggs offered at Wilson Farms, Sugar Creek and Wilson Farms Xpress locations throughout New York State are "safe to eat" as they are produced locally by Kreher' Farm Fresh Eggs, LLC of Clarence, N.Y.

Egg products sold within Wilson Farms stores are not associated with the salmonella enteritidis outbreak linked to contaminated shell eggs produced by Wright County Egg of Galt, Iowa.

Kreher's Farm Fresh Eggs has participated in an Egg Quality Assurance program in that was established in 1997 in a joint agreement between the NY Department of Health, the NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets, the Diagnostic Laboratory at Cornell, and the New York Poultry Association. Going beyond the egg production practices required by the FDA Egg Safety Rule, Kreher's Farm Fresh Eggs has also achieved Level 3 Certification for Safe Quality Foods 2000 in its egg packing operations.
